Huh. weird.
is it a problem with the file size maybe?
or maybe the type of file? (IDEK if dreamwidth doesn't allow certain types of files like other blog sites or not.)

It might be size. It's not the file type, I'm using JPG which is, you know, acceptable.

It looks like it might be the size; I'll try manually resizing the icons and see if I can make them smaller then the limit they gave here:
